I've spent the past two decades reviewing applications for admissions, scholarships, and special programs, and counseling families through the process for programs across the country. I know what committees are looking for, and most importantly, I help students feel confident in the process and let them own it, building skills they'll use in their next chapter.

FAQs

When should we start the College Admissions Strategy Sprint?

10th or 11th grade is the ideal time to start: early enough to build a real plan, before senior year turns into a scramble. That said, all high schoolers are welcome; if you're further along, we'll adjust the timeline to fit where your student actually is.

What if my student doesn't know what they want yet?

That's exactly where we start! Session one is built around exploring what your student actually wants, academically and beyond, not assuming they already have it figured out.

Most families come to me exactly at this stage.

Do you offer one-off sessions instead of the 3-session Sprint?

Yes, depending on individual needs.

Reach out and we can schedule a single session if that's a better fit for where you are.

Does this replace our school's college counselor?

No and it's not meant to.

This is a personalized, organized starting point that complements what your school offers, giving your student a clear plan and someone paying close attention to their specific situation.

Does this guarantee my student will get into their dream school?

No and I wouldn't trust anyone who promises that.

What I can guarantee is a personalized plan, an honest look at where your student stands, and the ability to move forward without guessing. That's the part actually in our control.
