Goodbye, Summer (Sort of . . . )

Last night I made an amazing corn and tomato salad and afterward, sat outside looking at stars, night-blooming jasmine thick in the air. I’m not quite ready to trade in peaches for pumpkin spice, but it feels like summer is starting to slip away. Cue: Summer Wind.

Looking back, this summer has been full: trips across the country; beach days and evening walks; yoga balanced with ice cream; my garden lettuce thriving (I’m a farmer) while my tomatoes…not so much; and the pièce de résistance, seeing Ms. Carter in person with my favorite people.

This fall, I'm excited to share great conversations with interesting guests on the podcast, including a professional male escort, the founder of a program to help people restart their lives after prison and homelessness, an eating disorder specialist, and this week, we have a Matt & Meg yap session.

I’d love to know what topics you’re most curious about or if there’s someone you’d like to hear from. Reply and let me know.

If you’re open to it…

Before the pumpkin spice takes over, take 5 minutes with your journal or notes app and write down:

Your Top 3 Summer Joys – big or small (a trip, a song, an ice cream flavor).

One Thing You Grew – maybe in your garden, your work, or yourself.

One Thing You’re Excited to Harvest in Fall – a goal, a project, or just cozy sweaters.

As always, thanks for being here. Wishing you a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

xoxo,

Meghan
