Jeremy Swick is a podcast host, producer, historian, curator, and archivist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, known on social media as @TheAverageHistorian. Born in Guatemala City and raised in Wisconsin, Jeremy combines a lifelong love of history and education with nearly two decades of experience playing rugby and building a career in social media and content creation.

Adopted from Guatemala City and raised in the U.S., Jeremy's story is one of chasing big dreams and landing in some genuinely extraordinary places. He describes himself as just an "average guy" who loves playing rugby, discussing history, and constantly learning — a curiosity that's carried him from the rugby pitch to founding Swick Media, and into hosting multiple podcasts, including Into the Unknown.
